Maci's Baptism
When
Kai read his mission call we were all just wanting to know WHERE, but
his little sister was waiting to hear WHEN. Unbeknownst to the rest of
us, she had been praying every night since he put in his papers that he
would be here to baptize her. We were pretty sure that it was unlikely
he would be around. We thought for sure he would be leaving much
sooner. When he read his MTC enter date Maci yelled, "Heavenly Father
answered my prayers!" We all looked at her inquisitively and said, "You
were praying for him to go to Australia?" "No, I was praying that he
wouldn't leave until after my baptism so he could baptize me before he
left." There you have it folks, the faith of a child.
